On behalf of the conference chair, I cordially invite you to 2023 KJF-International Conference on Organic Materials for Electronics and Photonics (KJF-ICOMEP2023) held from August 30 to September 2, 2023 in FUKUOKA, Japan. Korea-Japan Joint Forum (KJF) started in 1989, therefore KJF-ICOMEP has 34-year history. During these years, KJFs have evolved into the international conference in which scientists, engineers, and business leaders exchange information about recent advances in organic materials for electronics and photonics.

The research topics of KJF-ICOMEP2023 will cover from the fundamental research such as synthesis, fabrication and characterization of functional materials, thin films, interfacial chemistry and physics, and spectroscopy, to the application-oriented studies, including LEDs, FETs, optoelectric devices, solar cells, batteries, biochips, and biosensors. We are fully confident that all participants from industry as well as academy will benefit a great deal from this opportunity of scientific exchange provided by KJF-ICOMEP2023. The conference will also provide active opportunities for young graduated student and scientists to discuss their research projects, thus extending the groundwork for a successful network and for synergetic collaborations.

The organizers welcome participants who are interested in organic and polymer materials, electronics and photonics, and expect an exciting and fruitful discussion.

The proceedings of KJF-ICOMEP2022 will be published in special issues on “Molecular Crystals and Liquid Crystals” (MCLC, Taylor & Francis) after regular peer-reviewing processes. At the KJF-ICOMEP2023, we will call for submissions for the special issue of 2023 “Organic Materials for Electronics and Photonics”, MCLC. The detailed information is available on this KJF-ICOMEP2023 website.

We look forward to meeting you from August 30 to September 2, 2023.
